ANZE MOFOR - Founder/CEO/Board Member
Anze is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for business incubation and enterprise development. She completed her undergraduate program in Business and has served at American Airlines flight service for 8 years, after serving at luxury 5 star hospitality brands such as Four Seasons and The Beverly Hills Hotel.
She built a professional network and acumen to launch her first venture of community service at a charter school in Westchester, CA. and later founded BELLA Masters, a 501(C)(3) that develops young visionaries and entrepreneurs in low-income communities from her home continent in African, in the United States and other parts of the world.
EYEMBE ELANGO – President
Eyembe Elango – President (Or Managing Partner) – With over 23 years of manufacturing, consulting and Project management experience, and demonstrated success in leading and managing projects. Has provided key solutions to Fortune 500 organizations including optimization of resources, improvement in productivity and throughput, skills development, project management and capacity planning.
Eyembe has served in various emerging markets and held engineering and associate roles at fortune 500 companies in Automotive manufacturing such as The Powers Company and Power Industry Consultants, PIC. At GlobalStratos, Eyembe is in charge of modeling the business case and performance profile of startups and existing companies. Driving process improvement and implementing best practices, coordinating Africa engagement strategies.
ARREY OBENSON – Senior advisor/Board Member
Before becoming the current President and CEO of the International Institute of Saint Louis, Mr. Obenson Arrey has left a major footprint on the global economic and leadership scale.
Mr. Obenson served as Secretary General for JCI, after serving as Executive Director and Deputy Secretary General with the same establishment. In this capacity he developed and implemented the strategic plan of the organization, engaging stakeholders, internally and externally, to include member countries, government entities, international organizations and multinational corporations.
He led the development, overview and implementation of growth and impact strategy at a global level, also leading negotiations with partners, donors and contractors. Leading and motivating a staff at world headquarters and regional offices. Overseeing the financial management of the organization to include its investment and fund development strategy.
CHANTEL FEOLA – Executive Director
Chantel Feola is an accomplished Program Manager and Event Director for internationally renowned entertainment companies and non-profit organizations. Her background has always been in business development and has managed as many as 5,000 programs with $20 million dollars in sales and $100 million dollars in revenue. She is highly skilled at addressing businesses that are struggling on making a profit and relationship development. While in graduate school at Boston University, she consulted various non-profits on program development, budget restructures, and employee relations. Chantel believes people are what make a business blossom.
MUNGAI NFI – COO
In his previous role as Director of global policy and government affairs at Global Citizen in Africa, Mr. Nfi was in charge of overseeing Global Citizen’s Global Policy, Government Relations, Advocacy and campaigning initiatives in the Africa region, as well as running successful public campaigns, mobilizing governments to make new financial commitments towards human capital, sustainability and gender equality.
He also served as Engagement Director for Africa and the Middle East at Junior Chamber International (JCI) where he directed and implemented the growth and development strategy in accordance with the JCI Plan of Action as well as the Growth and Development Plan for Africa & the Middle East Area.
TAKUH SYLVIA – CFO
Sylvia is a certified accountant with experience in working with global accounting firms like Deloitte and Teichmann Group as a mining subcontractor dealing with mine construction, plant and equipment hire.
She is very detailed oriented and adds a huge value to any company with her ability to multitask, problems solving, anticipate challenges and create multiple high-level solutions to resolve them.
RUTH GANNON COOK - Board Member
Ruth received her doctorate from the University of Houston with an emphasis in Instructional Design Technology (2003). She also attended The Queens College, Cambridge, United Kingdom, and received a certificate for advanced studies with an emphasis in Change Diffusion and Technology Integration. She served as Editor of the International Journal of Educators Online (JEO) editorial board, and on the editorial boards of International Journal of Technologies and Educational Marketing, Tech Trends, Chief Learning Officer, a quarterly review of Distance Education, Participatory Educational Research, and Education and Self-Development.
At DePaul University, Ruth taught and designed online curricula; she also served as an advisor and mentor for an average portfolio of 120 students (undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral) each year. In, addition, she served for years on the Institutional Research Board, University Promotion and Tenure
She received the Recipient of the Faculty Recognition Award, Center for Latino Research (2015), was nominated for the DePaul University Gerald Paetsch Academic Advising Award, and was several times nominated for the Outstanding Teacher Award, and was twice awarded the Louise de Marillac Women, Spirit, and Action Award. Her community work includes serving on the Board of Trustees for the Cordell Hull Foundation for International Education (2010-present) and has served on The Girl Scouts of America’s Chicago Council of 100 (2013-2015).
Ruth’s research continues to be focused on the use of semiotics in education, instructional design, teaching, and advising students, particularly with respect to online learning, disadvantaged student learning, and online student retention.
ALI GAMA PAULA - Board Member
Mr. Gama Paulo is a Global Power Leader currently serving as the Senior Managing Partner of UK based AVUKE Group LTD., which helps businesses to realize the bigger picture of much needed innovation of compliance and the legal function in a shifting regulatory environment in order to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.
Before joining AVUKE Mr. Gama Paulo served in several different leadership capacities including Director-General and JV Manager of Angola Diamond Exploration Projects, Technical Assistant to COO and Exploration Manager in Angola at BHPBilliton, Senior Offshore Geologist at Sakawe Mining Corporation (SAMICOR) as senior Geologist responsible for attaining a monthly 12 000 cts production quota for his designated mining ship “The Kovambo”, with an average value of over US$265/carat as well as optimization of monthly Marine diamond-mining production along Namibian coast of Luderitz, in Hottentots Bay, Marshals Fork deposits.
In his most recent role as the General Manager of Cummins Angola, A fortune 500 company that designs, manufactures, and distributes engines, filtration, and power generation products, Mr. Gama Paulo made a remarkable shift in the growth of the Company.
JONATHAN D. WHITE - Board Member
Mr. White has been a public finance banker for 26 years, concentrating within the State of California. Prior to his eight years with Chilton & Associates, Mr. White worked with other major bond firms covering a wide range of school district, city and redevelopment issues.
Mr. White has worked on over $8 billion of tax-exempt financing structures including general obligation bonds, certificates of participation, Mello-Roos bonds, assessment district bonds, tax allocation bonds, revenue bonds, tax and revenue anticipation notes and a variety of short-term notes. Mr. White has extensive experience with variable-rate structures. His experience includes the whole range of municipalities, with an emphasis on school districts, cities and redevelopment agencies. He is an expert on refunding and has worked on advance, current and variable interest period refunding structures.
Mr. White is a member of the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers, the League of California Cities, the California Redevelopment Association and the Coalition for Adequate Housing.
Mr. White received his BA degree in economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara (1983) and received his MBA degree, with an emphasis in finance, from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1991.
